Welcome to the homepage of the Research Center of Large-span Spatial Structures. We are a diverse group of people with backgrounds in engineering and academic research. We actively study problems involving: high-performance materials and new structural systems, fatigue performance and life prediction of steel structures, structural seismic resilience and intelligent monitoring, etc. Our research center primarily uses experimental tools, occasionally coupled with theoretical studies and numerical simulations. Whenever possible, we actively collaborate with industry and scientists and engineers from many disciplines. We enjoy challenges and collaborations.
