Zhipeng Li was born in Datong, Shanxi Province. His research interests focus on the performance of green high-performance concrete self-repairing technology and microstructure testing technology and damage mechanism of cement-based materials. He has taken part in several research projects including the projects funded by NSFC (Natural Science Foundation of China).
